The USB 2.0 Ranger® 2304PoE (00-00465, ICR2304POE) is a USB 2.0 high speed extension solution, enabling USB 2.0 connections at up to speeds of 480Mbps and distances of 100m or 330ft using a PoE+ enabled Gigabit Cat 5e (or better) Ethernet LAN. Using a PoE enabled network to delivers power and data and eliminates the need for separate power supplies and outlets. The ICR2304POE provides an integrated four port remote USB 2.0 powered hub delivering 1.5A to each port supporting all USB 1.1 and 2.0 device types (up to 480Mbps). The local end is also a three port hub, eliminating the need to connect an external USB hub to the host device. The Ranger 2304PoE extends all USB 2.0 Peripherals such as flash drives, keyboards, mice and interactive whiteboards across a dedicated Cat5e (or better) connection. It also supports isochronous devices such as webcams for streaming, live video and conferencing. L-com offers an optional mounting kit (ICR2304-MNT) if desired. The mounting kit works on the ICR2304POE as well as the rest of the Ranger series of extenders. It supports one LEX (Local) or REX (Remote) in a Ranger pair. Two kits are required if you wish to mount both LEX and REX from the same pair.
