The L-com POESOD1GBT-LC 1-port power over Ethernet splitter that can be used in the transportation and telecommunications industries, as well as in smart offices, outdoor and residential settings.  This mountable splitter is rated for PoE++ at up to Cat6 gigabit speeds. It is backwards compatible with 802.3at and 802.3+ standards. The unit is powered via PoE over the input RJ45 Ethernet cable. It then splits the power and data into separate cables for non-PoE devices. Its ruggedized metal shell is IP67 water resistant and comes with LED status indicators. The unit can be mounted securely with the supplied screws if desired.

The POESOD1GBT-LC Ethernet splitter allows you to disconnect power from a power over Ethernet cable and split it into separate power and data cables for a non-power over Ethernet device that requires separate power and data inputs. This also allows you to as well as avoid installing an outlet near the device to instead use your existing power over Ethernet splitter infrastructure up to 100m.  The input port is an RJ45 jack and supports both IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ power and 10/100/1000BaseT data.

The Ethernet splitter is suitable for IP phones, cameras, LAN access points, and building devices like touch screens and card readers. Pair with a POEOD1GBT-LC unit to provide power near your outlet and split it out to your non-PoE device with the POESOD1GBT-SM. The unit also supports 6KV DC Ethernet ESD protection when properly grounded with the supplied ground wire.
