The Model NC-1 Non-Contact AC Voltage Detector measures the presence of AC Voltage from 100 to 240VAC. To use you merely touch the probe tip near the jacket of a cable or wire to determine if there is voltage present. You can also insert the tip into an outlet hole itself.
The LED light and audible warning provide a safe quick and easy way to confirm the presence of voltage in a circuit. The battery provides approximately 5 hours of continuous operation
